The Studio
I’m seeing that creators sharing pictures of their workspaces is a thing these days. So, here’s goes. This is my little creative corner of the world. Just like everything that one designs for themselves, this is a constant work in progress for me. In fact, between the time I took the pictures (two days ago) and now, I’ve probably moved a few things around already. I wasn’t sure how I’d like this room for a studio. In our last house, I had full finished basement to myself. But this 110 year-old dollhouse of ours that we bought last year has provided some serious inspiration and creative energy, I’m so happy in this space. I grew up in a house about this age. There’s just nothing like an old house.
Some of my favorite things in here are the pieces of friends’ and colleagues’ art, amazingly thoughtful gifts and a few really special family antiques.
As far as the computer rig goes, I’m on cloud nine these days. I jumped off the Apple train, and after the tiniest learning curve, I’m all about the Microsoft Surface stuff. The newest addition to the setup is the Surface Studio 2. That thing is a beast!
