In 2013, I designed The Anatomy of Steampunk with The Book Shop, Ltd. for Race Point publishing (Quarto). The book was a true labor of love. So much detail and ephemera. I felt like I was painting the book with images and artifacts. I think the design of the book truly conveys the Steampunk aesthetic while propping up the fashion designers’ individual styles.

In recent years, I’ve been creating book trailers and other promotion motion graphics. I love it! For some time now, I’ve had the idea to reach back into the book archives for some of my favorites and create book trailers for them. Sure, it might seem odd to create a trailer for a 10-year old book. But I love this book and wanted to see it brought to life with some audio and slick visuals.
